Electronic COC Platform · NAP submission: KBA & RDW
Manage eCoC NAP submission from XML to response
An eCoC National Access Point (NAP) is the manufacturer's entry channel for electronic conformity data. Electronic COC Platform creates, validates and signs eCoC XML, submits it through the manufacturer's configured KBA or RDW connection, and tracks responses.
Review our NAP submission workflow01
Choose the channel separately from the sales market
KBA and RDW are NAP channel options, not labels for the countries in which a manufacturer may sell. EUCARIS explains that manufacturers can choose a national access point and that authorities use EUCARIS for exchange. Confirm onboarding and technical requirements for the chosen channel.
02
Establish the manufacturer connection
Agree the submitting legal entity, authorised users, account access, certificate arrangements and test environment. Use a representative vehicle to check the complete flow. Production activation depends on the selected NAP's procedure and the manufacturer's access; platform configuration alone does not establish authority acceptance.
03
Make responses part of daily operations
Keep the sent XML, submission time and response with the vehicle record. A connection succeeding does not necessarily mean the certificate was accepted. Route rejected records to the responsible person, correct the underlying data and retain the relationship between the original and repeated submission.

Frequently asked questions
Is VCA another EUCARIS NAP route?
No. Treat the UK VCA submission workflow separately from KBA or RDW NAP submission.
Can software replace the manufacturer's NAP registration?
No. The manufacturer still needs the access and authorisations required by the chosen channel. The platform operates through the configured manufacturer connection.
What should we bring to a demonstration?
Bring your vehicle category, approval scope, preferred NAP, a redacted sample and current onboarding status. These determine the workflow that should be demonstrated.
